Cookie policy

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data that a website can keep on your device. QuickCalc Hub shows ads from Google AdSense, and Google sets cookies for those ads. QuickCalc itself sets no cookies: it uses your browser’s local storage, which works in a similar way, only for the features listed below.
One cookie message for everything
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google’s cookie message asks for your consent. That single message covers both the ads and QuickCalc’s saved preferences: if you agree to “Store and/or access information on a device”, QuickCalc saves your favorites, recent results, streak and last inputs; if you do not, nothing is kept between visits. Elsewhere, QuickCalc’s own banner asks about saved preferences, and Google may show a message where local law requires one.
What QuickCalc stores
| Name | What it does | Category | Lasts until |
|---|---|---|---|
qc_consent | Remembers your choice in the cookie message or banner | Essential | You delete saved data |
qc_consent_src | Notes that your choice came from Google’s cookie message | Essential | You delete saved data |
qc_streak | Counts your daily visit streak | Preferences | You delete saved data |
qc_favs | Calculators you saved as favorites | Preferences | You delete saved data |
qc_hist | Recent results | Preferences | You delete saved data |
qc_vals_… | Last values entered in each calculator | Preferences | You delete saved data |
The word counter and the password generator do not store anything. If you do not allow preferences, the calculators still work during your visit, but nothing is kept after you close the page.
Advertising with Google AdSense
We show ads with Google AdSense to pay for the site. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites on the internet, and to measure how ads perform. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalized ads are only shown if you agree in Google’s cookie message; otherwise Google shows non-personalized or limited ads, which can still use cookies for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement where the law allows it.
These are the cookies Google uses for ads and consent on this site. Google may change them; its list of cookies is always the up-to-date source.

You can manage personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses cookies for advertising at policies.google.com.
Your choices
Your current choice:
Delete everything QuickCalc has saved on this device. If you answered QuickCalc’s banner, it will show again; an answer given in Google’s cookie message stays until you change it with the button above.
You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
